How to reach Spiti..

By Road

As there is no approach to airport and railway in Spiti, it can only be reached by the means of roads. The roads in Spiti are 2-way road and it remains open throughout the year. In any case, one can check the guidebook as some of the roads are closed for 6 months. Mostly in cases

of flood and any natural calamity

By Train

In Spiti, you cant travel through a plane, You can reach only by road. Kullu Airport is the nearest airport from Spiti Valley. One can book a taxi or rickshaw from the airport to reach the destination.

By Air

There is no direct train root to Spiti, Shimla is the nearest railway station. One can book cabs and Jeeps to reach Spiti from there. From the station, buses are also available to the destination.

By Taxi

Taxi service is available to Spiti. As there is no direct train or air service, people mostly visited through taxi or by their personals vehicle. You can book your taxi from Kalka airport from Shimla railway station.
